Philosophy
I believe that the right legal solution for you is the one that is going to work for you, both for now and (especially) the long term. Generally, the best resolutions are reached by agreement, having regard for the law and the best interests of the children. That said, such agreements are not always possible, and if your matter must be decided by a judge, every effort will be made to obtain a desirable outcome.
Experience
I have been practicing family law in the East Kootenays since 2011. I have successfully represented clients in both Provincial and Supreme Court, and have negotiated many successful agreements outside of court.
When family violence is an issue
Family violence is an unfortunate reality for far too many spouses and children. I have extensive experience in litigating files that involve family violence.
